Will County, IL – Residents Report Mysterious Glowing Skies in Joliet

Joliet, IL – Locals in Joliet and surrounding counties were puzzled Wednesday night by an unusual orange glow in the sky. 

Joliet Fire Department confirmed receiving numerous calls about the phenomenon. According to the fire department, the glow originated from a refinery to the south of Joliet, exacerbated by low cloud cover.

The source of the mysterious glow was identified as the Minooka plant, which was conducting stack burning operations that night. However, details regarding the cause of this burn have not yet been disclosed.
