Following this, a drastic shift to extreme cold is forecasted for tomorrow, 3/28/2024, from 3am to 8am, with blowing snow and wind gusts reaching 30-40 mph, significantly reducing visibility and creating hazardous road conditions.
Residents are urged to stay alert by ensuring they have multiple methods to receive emergency alerts, especially during overnight hours, and to be prepared to take immediate action. In the event of tornadoes, seeking shelter in the lowest level or most interior room of a building is advised.
