Will County , IL – As the weekend approaches, the National Weather Service in Chicago alerts residents to anticipate light snowfall starting Friday morning and continuing into the afternoon. The snow, mainly concentrated south of I-80, may lead to slippery road conditions affecting the AM and PM commutes.

The forecast predicts a brief period of colder temperatures before a significant warming trend early next week, with highs reaching into the 40s and 50s. Commuters are advised to prepare for possible slick travel and to drive cautiously.
