Woman Missing in Kankakee Discovered Dead in City Shed

KANKAKEE, Ill. – The lifeless body of a woman last seen August 8th was discovered in a shed in the city Tuesday morning. 

Responding to the distress call at 09:57 am on the 400 block of South Fourth Avenue, authorities along with the Kankakee County Coroner’s Office reported the discovery of the body of Marocka Jean Greenlee, 44.

Details behind the discovery have not been released.  An investigation is ongoing with the Kankakee County Coroner’s Office, Kankakee County Sheriff’s Department, and Kankakee Police Department with an autopsy, scheduled for August 23rd.
