The National Weather Service in Wilmington, OH, has issued a weather outlook indicating the likelihood of strong, potentially damaging storms, including gusty winds and large hail. Additionally, a tornado cannot be ruled out, raising the alert level to a ‘Level 2’ risk.
According to the National Weather Service, gusty winds of approximately 30-40 MPH may occur early this morning, though severe weather isn’t anticipated with this initial activity. As the day progresses, scattered storms are expected to redevelop, particularly north of Interstate 70, while areas further south may experience minimal activity. The greatest threat for strong to severe storms is predicted to emerge in central Ohio during the mid-afternoon.
