Nashville, TN – A criminal homicide arrest warrant has been issued for Anton Rucker, 46, following a deadly shooting at Roasted restaurant on Garfield Street in Nashville, resulting in the death of Allen Beachem, 33, and the non-critical wounding of six others.
According to the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department (MNPD), the incident occurred on Sunday afternoon, and Rucker, currently jailed in Kentucky as a fugitive, waived extradition on Tuesday, with plans for his return to Nashville soon.
The MNPD’s TITANS Unit, dedicated to addressing neighborhood shootings, alongside a coalition of law enforcement agencies, located and apprehended Rucker in Princeton, Kentucky, after receiving a tip. Rucker, an ex-convict with a history of aggravated assault, unlawful gun possession, and felony drug charges, was taken into custody by the U.S. Marshal’s Fugitive Task Force.
As the investigation progresses, additional charges related to the shooting are anticipated. The collaborative effort among the Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force, Princeton Police Department, U.S. Marshal’s Fugitive Task Force, ATF, and TBI played a crucial role in Rucker’s apprehension.
