Wisconsin Authorities Discover Cocaine in Gel-Infused Columbian Rollerblade Wheels

Kenosha, WI – A unique drug concealment method was unveiled in Kenosha, Wisconsin, when authorities discovered cocaine hidden within the wheels of rollerblades. 

According to Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department, in collaboration with the Department of Homeland Security Investigations Team (HSI), executed a search warrant on Friday at a local home followed a tip-off about a suspicious package from Bogota, Colombia. 

The intercepted package, initially identified by U.S. Customs and Border Protection for its suspicious contents, reportedly contained rollerblades with wheels infused with a gelatin-like substance. Subsequent testing confirmed the presence of cocaine. The operation, led by the Kenosha Drug Operations Group (KDOG) and supported by HSI through a controlled delivery, resulted in the seizure of 1048 grams of cocaine, $3475 in cash, and evidence of monetary transfers to Colombia exceeding $30,000, alongside numerous forged identification documents.

The case remains under investigation.
