Lake County, IL – Three people have been arrested following a home invasion in Beach Park, Illinois, on Friday morning.
According Lake County Sheriff’s Deputies, a woman and two men from Mundelein were arrested following their unauthorized return to a Beach Park residence on March 1, 2024.
Initially, deputies were dispatched to assist Melinda Uribe, 30, with no fixed address, in collecting her possessions from a home in the 38700 block of North Sheridan Road. Reportedly ignoring advice to come back later with law enforcement for assistance, Uribe, accompanied by Robert M. Carr, 41, and Keith T. Daniels, 43, both of Mundelein, forcibly entered the home around 10:00 a.m. and assaulted the 29-year-old male occupant.
Responding promptly to the situation, the Lake County Sheriff’s Department arrested the trio on charges related to the home invasion. Uribe and Carr are charged with Home Invasion (Class X Felony) and Residential Burglary (Class 1 Felony), whereas Daniels faces a Criminal Trespass to Residence charge (Class 4 Felony).
They await their initial court hearing, under the principle that all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
