Milwaukee, WI – In a relentless multi-agency investigation, a Wisconsin man has been charged with the murder and dismemberment of a 19-year-old woman found near a Milwaukee-area golf course, authorities announced Friday.
Milwaukee County Sheriff Denita Ball and Milwaukee Police Chief Jeffrey Norman revealed that Maxwell S. Anderson, 33, faces charges including First Degree Intentional Homicide, Mutilating a Corpse, and Arson of Property Other Than Building. The investigation kicked off when partial human remains were discovered on April 2 at Warnimont Park in Cudahy.
According to the criminal complaint, Anderson allegedly killed Sade C. Robinson, mutilated her remains, and set her car on fire to conceal evidence.
“Our hearts are with the family and loved ones of Sade Robinson,” Milwaukee Police Department Chief Norman said Friday. “This is a horrendous tragedy and above all else, I cannot imagine the pain you must be going through. I would like to express my deepest and most sincere sympathy.”
The investigation rapidly unfolded with significant contributions from local and federal agencies, including the FBI, the Wisconsin Department of Justice, and several local police departments, demonstrating extensive coordination and forensic expertise.
Sheriff Ball commended the dedication of the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office and its partners, who worked tirelessly to piece together evidence from various sources, ultimately leading to Anderson’s arrest.
