Hazel Crest Man Arrested as Second Suspect in Kendall County Vehicular Hijacking Case

Kendall County, IL – A Hazel Crest man, Edward Dampier, has been arrested as the second suspect in a vehicular hijacking incident that occurred in March on Seneca Drive, Boulder Hill.

According to Kendall County Sheriff’s Department reports the 20-year-old faces alleged charges including aggravated vehicular hijacking and possession of a stolen motor vehicle. This arrest follows the earlier apprehension of Ronnell Binion, with both cases drawing on extensive investigative work and community cooperation.

According to the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office, Dampier turned himself in on April 10, 2024, and is due for a detention hearing on April 18. As the investigation unfolds, authorities continue to leverage advanced technological tools and strong inter-agency collaboration to bring those responsible to justice.
