According to Pinal County Sheriff’s reports it comes after the initial March 29 attack, where a man was injured, triggered an extensive manhunt. Figueroa was identified as a suspect and reportedly fled the scene but was located on Wednesday at a Mesa apartment, where he initially barricaded himself before surrendering.

Sheriff Mark Lamb commended the swift actions of Pinal County deputies and Mesa Police, highlighting the community’s safety and the importance of teamwork in law enforcement.
