This weekend, three gymnasiums in Illinois will transform into a locomotive attraction when the 32nd Annual Model Railroad Show and Swap Meet kicks off in Lena, Illinois, March 14th and 15th, presented by The Depot Stove Gang Model Railroad Club.
The event is a chance to see 30,000 square-feet of operating displays, railroad memorabilia and model railroad merchandise.
Show hours are 10:00 am-4:00 pm on Saturday, March 14th and 10:00 am-4:00 pm on Sunday, March 15th. Lunch is available both days in the Elementary Cafeteria. Lena is located just 1 mile north of U.S. Route 20 on Illinois 73. Directional signs will be posted to guide you to 401 Fremont Street in Lena. Lena is approximately 2 hours west of Chicago, 1¼ hours south of Madison, Wisconsin and 1-hour east of Dubuque, Iowa.
