For the second consecutive year, Kankakee’s Collector Con will enter the weekend with a sold-out vendor lineup. Each year, Collector Con features a variety of vendors covering toys, cards, comic books, coins, art, collectibles, video games, giveaways and much more!

This year’s Collector Con will feature a guest appearance by Brian Colin, creator of the Rampage and Rampage: World Tour. Colin was inducted into the International Video Game Hall of Fame in 2019.

Rampage has a long history with the State of Illinois, dating back to the mid-1980s and the original arcade game, which became a massive hit for the industry. The Arcade Game Rampage takes place in a variety of locations across Illinois, including Peoria, Chicago, Homewood, Aurora, and Plano.

The 2018 movie of the same name also takes place in the City of Chicago, with principal photography work done there.

Colin, a native of Plano, had filmed a Cameo for the 2018 Rampage film, though he was not part of the filming directly. Colin also filmed a Cameo in the Rampage Movie but was left on the cutting room floor.

Collector Con starts March 22nd and runs from 10 am-4 pm at the Kankakee Fairgrounds at 213 W. 4000 S. Road in Kankakee. The entry is $3.00. There are no extended hours, so be sure to arrive early!
