BOURBONNAIS – Several attendees of St. Anne’s Pumpkin Fest this last weekend have begun to report cases of COVID-19.

According to reports into the newsroom, multiple cases have been confirmed through tests among attendees of the four day festival, which ran from Thursday, September 16th to Sunday, September 19th and reportedly saw over a thousand attendees.

Symptoms of COVID-19 appear within 2-14 days of exposure to the virus and may include fever, cough, fatigue, sore throat, nausea and diarrhea.  If any of these symptoms begin concerning you, call a medical provider.

The Kankakee County Health Department reported 400 new cases of the virus including four additional deaths from September 7th to the 14th. There have now been a total of 16,529 cases and 248 COVID deaths since last March.

This is a developing story.
