IDPH reports as of Tuesday night, Champaign Region Hospitals are nearing capacity as 95% of all area ventilators in that network.  The number accounts for 195 of their 206 ventilators.

That stat leads all in the state for ventilator usage in an area hospital, with the next closest Rockford area hospitals with 82% of their ventilators in use.

The Southwest Suburban Hospital network currently has 65% of all ventilators in use as of Tuesday night, with 192 of its 297 units being used currently.

The State of Illinois currently is only using 23% of all ventilator units.  Illinois is currently in a predicated ‘mid-April surge’ according to health officials.  No word if a type of rolling deployment will be issued to areas hard hit by ventilator usage, like the Champaign Region Hospitals network.
