Illinois Students Targeted in Disturbing Series of Pellet Gun Attacks

Champaign, Illinois – Students at the University of Illinois are living in fear as a string of pellet gun attacks has plagued their campus. 

The University of Illinois Police Department (UIPD) is currently investigating multiple incidents where students were targeted by assailants driving around and firing at them. 

Reports indicate that at least four attacks occurred at various locations, including Wright Street and Armory Avenue, First Street, Gregory Drive and Goodwin Avenue, and the intersection of First and White Streets. 

So far none of the victims have been seriously injured in the shootings. The UIPD is urging anyone with information to come forward and assist in bringing the perpetrators to justice.
