Chicago man in custody after reports of domestic battery at Thornton’s gas station in Channahon

CHANNAHON – A 28-year-old Chicago man is in custody today after allegedly repeatedly punching woman at Thornton’s gas station.

According to Channahon Police, it happened at 9:11am Sunday when callers reported seeing a male punching a female in a dark colored Ford vehicle on the lot at 24144 W. Eames St.  The vehicle had become stuck in snow between two lots as the driver attempted to flee the area.

The immediate area was on lockdown with local transducer diverted away until the driver complied to leave the vehicle. 

An hour later officers arrested Keyjuan T. Parker, 28 of Chicago, peacefully without incident.  Charges against Parker are currently pending.
