Fire Erupts at Old Mental Health Complex in Tinley Park

Tinley Park, IL – On Friday night, a fire broke out at the old mental health complex located at 7400 W 183rd St. The State Fire Marshal’s office is investigating the cause of the blaze, which occurred in a large outbuilding.

Fire and paramedic units from Orland, Oak Forest, Posen, and other nearby areas responded to the scene to contain the fire.

Fortunately, there were no reports of injuries. The abandoned mental health complex has been a source of concern for local residents due to its deteriorating condition.
