COVID-19: 439 Active Cases in Kankakee County as RECORD 58 new announced Friday

Kankakee County Health Department announced a record 58 new COVID-19 cases on Friday afternoon, bringing case counts for the week to 186 since Monday. 

There are now 601 confirmed cases in the County, with 439 active cases as of Friday afternoon.

Cases announced today included 17 people in the age bracket ages 20-29. One new deaths were announced today as recoveries grew to 130 as of Friday afternoon.

Cases increased on Friday via IDPH reporting in Manteno (+3), Bourbonnais (+5), Bradley (+2) Kankakee (+11) Momence (+2) Pembroke (+1) Chebanse (+2) and St. Anne (+3). Here’s how cases break down across Kankakee County via confirmed Zip Codes on Thursday:

  • 25 Cases (Manteno)
  • 76 Cases (Bourbonnais)
  • 31 Cases (Bradley)
