COVID-19: Illinois announces 125 deaths in last 24 hours

Governor Pritzker started off his press conference Saturday by announcing 125 people in Illinois had lost their lives in the last 24 hours due to conditions brought on by COVID-19. 

Illinois death toll from COVID-19 now stands at 1,259.

There are now nearly 30,000 Illinois residents infected with COVID-19. Saturday’s count stood at 29,160 confirmed cases in the State.
