COVID-19: Kankakee County rises to 61

Kankakee County Health Officials announced this morning 2 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total for the County to 61.  Cases included two men, one in his 20s and another in his 60s.

No further information was given.

Health Department Officials say Communicable Disease nurses are working tirelessly to follow up with contact investigation and to notify anyone confirmed cases may have had contact with.

Meanwhile, park officials continue to urge residents to comply with the Stay-At-Home order in place. This morning, children were spotted in a Kankakee Park playing basketball before 7am.
