COVID-19: Three new deaths in Kankakee Tuesday

Health officials announced Tuesday three new deaths in Kankakee County due to novel coronavirus, bringing death totals to 43 since the pandemic began.  Just ten new cases were announced, including two cases in their teens.

New numbers bring cases in the County to 967 since reporting began.  Active cases went down 12 in the past 24 hours, now standing at 659.  At least 21 cases fell into the recovery column on Tuesday, brining recovery totals to 265.

Cases increased Tuesday via IDPH over the course of the past three days since last reporting tallies were made. Since Friday, cases have risen in Bourbonnais (+4), Kankakee (+13), St. Anne (+2), and Momence (+1).Here’s how cases break down across Kankakee County via confirmed Zip Codes on Tuesday:

  • 111 Cases (Bourbonnais)

  • 11 Cases (Chebanse)
