COVID-19: Two more area residents, Kankakee County now at 70

Kankakee County Health Department announced this morning two additional positive test results have come back for residents in the County, bringing area totals to 70 today.  The County now has 60 active cases of the Virus, with 3 deaths and 7 recovered.

Information on the cases was limited but are a male in his 40s and a female in her 60s.

Last night, Illinois announced it was near 10,000 total cases in the State and is expected to push past that number later today when officials announce those statistics.  You can listen in live to Governor J.B. Pritzker’s daily COVID-19 address at 2:30 pm here.
