Elmhurst Parking Garage Horror: Bensenville Man’s Fatal Fall Sparks Investigation

ELMHURST, IL – Authorities have launched an investigation into a fatal incident at the Addison Avenue Parking Garage Wednesday.

According to reports it happened at 11:30 a.m. this morning when Elmhurst Police area Fire Departments rushed to the scene following a distressing 911 call reporting an unresponsive 68-year-old man from Bensenville. 

Tragically, the victim was pronounced dead upon arrival at the garage, located at 135 N. Addison Ave.  Authorities report Items belonging to the deceased were discovered on the 6th-floor ledge of the parking structure, with the available evidence strongly indicating a fall as the cause of the incident.

The Elmhurst Police Department and the DuPage County Coroner’s Office are collaborating closely in their investigation. The victim’s identity has not been released.
