Half of U.S. now included on Chicago’s quarantine list, including Indiana

CHICAGO – Half the United States is now included on the City of Chicago’s emergency travel order list.

On Tuesday, the city added Indiana, becoming the 25th state added to the restrictions.  Beginning Friday, anyone arriving from a state included on the travel order list is required to quarantine for 14 days in Chicago.  Violators could face fines up to $500 a day, up to $7,000.

The list now includes Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Puerto Rico, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.
