Hunters discover Human remains in Jasper County

RENSSELAER – Local law enforcement officers are investigating human remains discovered over the weekend by two area coyote hunters.

Jasper County Sheriff’s reports the hunters discovered the remains last Saturday night, roughly five miles northeast of the city, although no exact details of the location have been released.

Multiple agencies responded to the scene including Coroner and local detectives. The remains have since been moved to the County Morgue for examination and forensic study for identification purposes.
