KANKAKEE – A Kankakee based Trucking company is expanding.
A.N. Webber Logistics Inc, a Kankakee based Trucking Company based on Route 45/52, announced Tuesday it has purchased Hicks Corporation, a full service truck brokerage based in Arizona.
“What we liked so much about this opportunity is the similarities between our organizations. We’re both family-owned and operated with long-standing customer, carrier, and employee relationships. We have a lot of the same objectives,” Alan N. Webber, CEO of the A.N. Webber companies, stated of the acquisition in a press release.
Hicks Co will continue to operate under its existing name until the end of 2022. A.N. Webber has been in business in Kankakee since 1947.
