Kankakee County Clerk’s Office Faces Temporary Closure of Vital Records Department

KANKAKEE, Ill. – In response to staffing shortages, the Kankakee County Clerk’s Office announced Monday the Vital Records Department will experience a temporary closure from 1 pm to 2 pm for at least the next two weeks. 

The closure aims to address the staffing challenges faced by the office and ensure efficient service provision during operational hours.

“We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause,” stated the County Clerk’s Office spokesperson. They assured residents that every effort is being made to minimize disruption and maintain quality service during the closure period.

Affected individuals are encouraged to plan their visits to the Vital Records Department accordingly to avoid any inconvenience.
