Republic Services resumes Yard Waste Pick-Up in Kankakee on April 27

Kankakee, IL – Republic Services announced services will resume for yard waste pickup in the City of Kankakee beginning on Monday, April 27, 2020. While the City of Kankakee offices are currently closed to the public at this time to pick up yard waste stickers, please help the department by leaving containers open to identify yard waste.

Stickers are not needed at this time. Old garbage containers can be used, but must be 35 gallons or less and no more than 50 pounds. Containers can be used for grass, small sticks and other yard waste. Residents can also purchase yard waste bags at a local store.
