Manteno St. Baldrick’s Pediatric Cancer Research event goes online this year

Manteno St. Baldrick’s head shaving event raises money to support pediatric cancer  every March is going digital this May in response to COVID-19.   The event was delayed back in March due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

It starts Facebook Live Saturday May 16th from 2-4pm.  This year’s fundraising goal is $100,000.

Over the past eight years, the annual event has raised $640,000 for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation for Pediatric Cancer Research. Donations are still accepted now online at StBaldricks.org.
