Naperville Firefighters Extinguish Sunday Apartment Blaze, $50k in Damages

NAPERVILLE, Ill. — Naperville’s firefighting heroes sprang into action, swiftly extinguishing a late-night kitchen fire at a multi-family residential apartment building on 1500 Block Country Lakes Drive. 

The incident occurred late Sunday prompting an immediate dual response after an automatic fire alarm notification. Residents’ quick calls upgraded the dispatch to a general alarm response, deploying a formidable team of firefighters and rescue units. 

Within 20 minutes of the alarm, the blaze was under control, with no injuries reported. The cause of the fire remains under investigation, and damages are estimated at $50,000. No one was injured in the blaze.
