Nearly 200 Participants Showcase Art at KCC High School art show 2020

More than 191 students have artwork on display at the 31st annual Kankakee Community College High School Juried Art Exhibition.

The show runs through March 18 in the art hallway and gallery area, on the first floor of KCC’s Arts & Science Building. The area is open 7 a.m. – 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 7 a.m. – 5 p.m. Fridays. From March 9 to 13, the gallery will close at 5 p.m.

A reception for the artists will be Wednesday, March 18, from 6-7:15 p.m. in the gallery area. Awards in categories such as Painting, Color Drawing/Design, Photography/electronic imaging and 3-D Design will be revealed at 7:15 p.m. in the KCC Auditorium, Room L110. Jurors are the KCC art faculty.

The exhibit is sponsored by KCC’s Visual Arts Department.
