BRADLEY – Holiday parades in Milford and Paxton have been canceled this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic and rising record numbers statewide.

Paxton, Milford and Gibson City all canceled their events due to safety concerns, while a tree lighting ceremony in Paxton is still set to go on. It comes as both Bradley and Watseka continue to plan a go-ahead with their events.

The news comes as COVID-19 numbers surpass totals hit this past Spring. No official word has been made regarding a possible cancellation of either event.

The Watseka parade is scheduled for November 29th at 8 pm while the 35th Annual Bradley Christmas parade in Bradley is scheduled to take place on December 4th.
