Vehicle hits concrete barrier in New Lenox, killing driver

NEW LENOX – A Joliet man has died after his vehicle struck a concrete barrier on I-80 in New Lenox.

It happened early Saturday morning when 50-year-old Dwight D. Reeves, of Joliet, vehicle struck a concrete barrier on Interstate 80 headed westbound near mile marker 137.  The Will County Coroner’s office reports Reeves was pronounced dead at 1:50 am Saturday.

The Illinois State Police are investigating the crash.
