Zagster, the bike-sharing service with multiple locations across Kankakee County, will suspend all rentals during the COVID-19 outbreak.

The company said in a letter to customers yesterday evening:

“We understand that many of you use Zagster for essential functions like commuting to work or getting to stores for supplies, so this was not an easy decision to make. However, at this time we have decided that it is necessary to prioritize the safety of our maintenance staff and other riders.”

The Zagster service has been in Kankakee County since 2018 with locations in Bourbonniais, Bradley, Kankakee and Manteno. A list of FAQs for area customers related to the suspensions can be found here.
