Addison, IL – The Addison Police Department is actively investigating a burglary that occurred early Wednesday morning at Thornton’s gas station, located at 800 W. Lake Street.
According to the police reports, the incident took place between 3:45 AM and 4:45 AM on Wednesday, December 27, 2023. The suspects reportedly gained entry by breaking the glass of the front door. Authorities have described the suspects: one was wearing a hooded black jacket, while the other sported a light-colored, hooded sweatshirt. They were observed carrying a large bag and were last seen heading northbound on foot from the location.
The Addison Police Department is urging the community to review any surveillance footage that may have captured suspicious activities during the specified time. Detectives Garofalo and Besch are handling the investigation and can be reached at (630) 543-3080 for any information.
