EFFINGHAM, IL — Tracy Senko of Bourbonnais, Illinois, has been honored as the 2023 One Midland Club Top Winner, a prestigious recognition awarded by Midland States Bank.

Senko, a teller at the bank’s Bourbonnais Latham Branch, was selected from numerous nominations submitted by customers and peers, which were then reviewed by Midland’s executive team.

The One Midland Club is the highest employee distinction at the bank, awarded annually to five employees who exemplify the bank’s values and culture. Each of the recipients receives a $5,000 bonus, and the bank contributes an additional $5,000 to a charity of the top winner’s choice.

According to Jeffrey G. Ludwig, CEO of Midland States Bank, the award underscores the bank’s commitment to recognizing employees who go above and beyond in serving their communities and enhancing customer experience.Senko, who transitioned to banking from a career in healthcare, was inspired by her daughter to explore the new field. “I love my customers and cannot thank them enough for nominating me for this award,” said Senko, whose charity of choice, the South Suburban Humane Society, will receive the $5,000 donation in memory of her dog, Tank.
