Cash Back Savings? Thieves Swipe $1,800 in Cash at Countryside Best Buy

COUNTRYSIDE, IL – A cunning theft at the Best Buy in Countryside Plaza has left authorities on high alert. 

According to Countryside Police reports, on Tuesday, two men allegedly swindled the store out of $1,800 during a daytime purchase. They initially paid $3,100 in cash, but amidst the transaction, one perpetrator diverted the cashier’s attention, taking a portion of the cash back. 

One suspect is described as a Caucasian male with dark hair and beard, while the other is possibly of Arabic descent, aged between 20 and 30. The Countryside Police Department urges the public to come forward with any information.
