Arlington Heights, IL – Community Safety Efforts Bolstered by Drug Take Back Initiative

Arlington Heights, IL – Residents of Arlington Heights will have the opportunity to safely dispose of unused or expired prescription medications during the DEA National Drug Take Back Day. 

The event, scheduled for April 27, 2024, from 10 am to 2 pm, aims to prevent drug abuse and raise awareness about responsible medication disposal. The local police department is inviting community members to the Arlington Heights Police Department located at 200 E Sigwalt, Arlington Heights for this important public health event.

According to the Arlington Heights Police Department, the Drug Take Back Day is part of a national effort to provide a secure and convenient way to dispose of prescription drugs, while also educating the public about the potential for substance abuse.
