Quad Cities Weather Update: Up to a Quarter Inch of Rain Expected, Frost Advisory Tonight

Quad Cities, IA/IL – This week, the Quad Cities area may see up to a quarter of an inch of rain, according to forecasts from the US National Weather Service. While today will be sunny with highs reaching the low 60s, the region is set for a mild workweek with temperatures consistently in the 60s. Rain showers and a few thunderstorms are anticipated to begin Monday night and continue into Tuesday.

The weather service also warns of potential frost tonight as temperatures are expected to fall into the mid-30s. Residents should take necessary precautions to protect sensitive vegetation. Although the week starts wet, warmer conditions are forecasted, with possibilities of more showers and storms towards the end of the week.
