Manhunt Escalates in Lombard After Armed Bank Heist; Suspect Still at Large

LOMBARD, IL – Lombard Police with FBI assistance are intensifying their search following an armed robbery at a Chase bank on Roosevelt Road earlier today. 

After a rapid response to the scene around 12:30 p.m. law enforcement confirmed the suspect had fled. Initial leads prompted the questioning of a person of interest, but this individual has since been cleared of any involvement in the incident.

Police are actively pursuing all available leads and appeal to the public for any information regarding the incident. The Lombard community is on alert as the investigation continues, and anyone with knowledge of the robbery is encouraged to contact the Lombard Police Department.
