Boil Water Advisory Issued for Multiple Areas in Watseka, Illinois

Watseka, IL – Residents in Watseka are advised of a boil order affecting multiple areas across the city. The City of Watseka issued the precautionary measure for locations including all of Porter Ave, Lincoln Ave from Faith to South Tenth, and additional surrounding areas. The advisory comes as a proactive step to ensure public health and safety.

According to the Watseka Police Department, the boil order will remain in effect until further notice. This safety measure affects several streets, including Grant Street from South Tenth to East Walnut, and covers residences such as 911 & 915 East Locust. Citizens in the affected zones are urged to boil water prior to consumption, and city officials are working diligently to resolve the issue. The community will be notified once the boil order is lifted.
