Bourbonnais, IL – Young Jedis and budding artists, get ready! Bourbonnais Park District’s Exploration Station is transforming this summer into a playground of imagination and creativity with themed activities for kids.

Charge up your lightsabers for “May the Fourth Be With You” day, an exhilarating Star Wars-themed adventure on May 4th for kids aged 3-8. Dress in your galactic best and join other young Padawans for interstellar games, space snacks, and authentic lightsaber training courtesy of a real Jedi Master. Hurry, as the galaxy awaits your presence, with registration ending May 2nd for a $14 participation fee.

Then, swap your spacesuit for a smock at the “Juice and Canvas” events. Offered on select Saturdays for children aged 4-8, this art-filled morning blends snack time with creativity. Each child will leave with a canvas they’ve turned into a personal masterpiece. Sign up 48 hours in advance with a $20 fee to secure your spot in this kaleidoscope of fun.

Let’s not forget the enchanting “Fairy Garden Party” on June 1st. Young ones can enjoy outdoor crafting to lure in the local fairies – maybe they’ll witness a sprinkle of fairy dust! Registration before May 30th is a must, and the fee is set at $14.

This summer, make memories under the sun at Exploration Station. Dive into these events and more – full details are ready at the Bourbonnais Park District’s website. Don’t miss out on the joy!
