Kankakee, IL – The Kankakee Farmers’ Market is now inviting local entrepreneurs to apply as vendors for the upcoming market season. Those interested in showcasing their products have until March 15th to apply for a full-time vendor spot, while occasional vendor applications are accepted throughout the season on a space-available basis.

According to the market’s official guidelines available on their website, the Kankakee Farmers’ Market is looking for vendors who can offer high-quality products that are produced or made locally. The selection process involves several criteria, including product quality and origin, category and space availability, as well as the vendor’s previous participation. The market emphasizes the importance of maintaining a vibrant and appealing atmosphere and, as such, limits the number of vendors in each category, with the exception of produce and farm/agricultural products. All applications will undergo a review process by the Kankakee Farmers Market Committee and the Market Manager to ensure a diverse and engaging market experience for the community.

For more information or to apply, vendors are encouraged to visit the Kankakee Farmers’ Market website. With spots filling quickly, potential vendors are urged to submit their applications soon to secure their place at one of the area’s most anticipated local events.
