Mokena, IL – Controlled Burn Alert for Old Plank Road Trail Residents

Mokena, IL – The Forest Preserve District of Will County is scheduled to perform a controlled burn along the Old Plank Road Trail, situated east of Spencer and west of Wolf Road, on Thursday, March 7, from 9 AM to 5 PM. 

Residents near the area are encouraged to close their windows and undertake any additional precautions deemed necessary. The controlled burn aims to manage local vegetation and maintain the ecological health of the area.
