Kankakee Man Assaulted with Jumper Cables

KANKAKEE, IL – Disturbing events unfolded in Kankakee early Friday when police raced to the 300 block of S. Wildwood Ave. after an anonymous 911 tip. Once on-site, they discovered a group near the Wildwood and Hickory junction.

According to police reports the victim, bearing clear facial wounds, identified a known attacker who reportedly blindsided him with jumper cables near a home on the 200 block of South Wildwood. 

Although visibly injured, the man turned down medical help. The probe into this unsettling Kankakee incident is still active.
