Indiana Pedestrian Hospitalized After US 41 Crash: Illinois Driver Remains On Scene

HIGHLAND, IN – An accident on US 41 near Lincoln Street Thursday night left a 33-year-old Highland pedestrian hospitalized. 

According to Highland Police, a 24-year-old woman from Lynwood, Illinois was behind the wheel of the vehicle involved in the crash. She reportedly stayed at the scene, assisting and cooperating with authorities investigating the incident. 

The pedestrian’s injuries, encompassing his head and body, have been deemed non life-threatening. The South Lake County Accident Reconstruction Team has now taken over the investigation.
