OSWEGO, IL — On Friday evening, panic spread across Loreen Court when a resident’s distress call alerted the Oswego Police to a possible break-in. A frantic 911 call came in around 7:22 p.m. from a woman in the 600 block, reporting unfamiliar sounds and movements within her home.

Despite a rapid response, which saw the deployment of a police drone and an Aurora Police Department canine unit, the suspect remains elusive.

Authorities are urging residents with any surveillance footage or information to step forward. Tips can be anonymous, with cash rewards for leads resulting in identification and arrest.
