Massive Drug Bust in South Streator: Three Arrested, Guns, Cash Seized

SOUTH STREATOR, Livingston County — In a sweeping operation, the Livingston County Proactive Unit, alongside multiple assisting agencies, unearthed a significant narcotics racket, leading to the arrest of Abelino Perez Villasenor, Avelino Perez Jr., and Daniel Perez.

Officers confiscated over 298 grams of cocaine, Xanax, $9,000 in cash, and two firearms. Alleged charges against the trio range from Possession with Intent to Deliver Cocaine, a Class X Felony, to the Unlawful Possession of a Firearm without a Firearm Owners ID Card.

Among the assisting bodies were the Lasalle County Sheriff’s Department, TRIDENT, Fairbury Police, VCOM, and the Livingston County State’s Attorney’s Office.
