Peoria County, IL – On Saturday evening, a tragic accident occurred on Airport Road in Peoria County, resulting in the death of a 34-year-old man.
Peoria County Sheriff’s deputies arrived at the scene around 6:02 p.m. to find the vehicle had veered off the road near Tuscarora Road, striking a tree. The sole occupant was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to the Peoria County Sheriff’s Office, the car was headed southbound when it lost control. The ongoing investigation seeks to determine the specifics of the crash.
The identity of the deceased has not been disclosed, pending family notification by the Peoria County Coroner.
